I have created a slider that moves a box back and forth, and the Unity applications WORKS. But i still get this errocode. UnityException: You are not allowed to call this function when declaring a variable. Move it to the line after without a variable declaration. If you are using C# don't use this function in the constructor or field initializers, Instead move initialization to the Awake or Start function. This is the class (simplified) class Constraint{
private var partRef:Transform; function Constraint(constraintName:String){ setPartRef(); } function setPartRef(){ this.partRef = GameObject.Find("box").transform; }
} Cant find a logical solution to this. I am using Javascript, not C#. I tried the Awake() function ,but that does not work. You'll need to paste in a non simplified version Cyclops · Jul 21, 2010 at 04:03 PM 0 Share Where are you creating an instance of the class Constraint? Is it possibly being created before any GameObjects exist, thereby making GameObject.Find() unavailable? I'm not that familiar with Unity's execution flow, so not sure what happens when. :) Cyclops · Jul 21, 2010 at 04:05 PM 1 Share Note - if so, then you would need to remove the SetPartRef() call from the constructor function, and call it from outside, after the object is fully created. I was very happy with this phone. I had not allowed to no problems until one day I couldn’t call out. I kept getting a not allowed to dial message every time I tried to call anyone.I could still receive calls and send and receive texts but I couldn’t call out. After quite a bit of research on the internet I came up with a solution. None of the solutions available had all the information I needed I just kept trying different combinations until it worked.Here is the step by step solution I used to remove the "not allowed to dial” message and allow me to dial out again.1. turn off the phone2. place 2 sims on the phone3. restart the phone4. keep the WLAN disabled5. enter the engineering mode *#82043036#6. select the option RF Test Tool (on my phone it’s option 13)7. Select GSM, to accept8. go to Power scan9. go to Band Select and select DCS1800 and then OK10. another screen will appear. Try to select each option until you find one that will have your phone appear unresponsive (it locks). On my phone it was the last option.11. pressing the main button (the round button with the square box). It will take you to the home screen12. go to the setup menu13. go to network settings menu SIM114. this is a preferred mode15. select one of the preferred modes GSM or Wireles
