The popups are from the web site dealtimetoday.com and are clearly not legitimate. I tried deleting my Google Chrome extensions, cookies and cache and when that didn't work, I uninstalled Google Chrome itself. But I still want to make sure there's nothing unwanted lingering not enough quota on my computer. I have a secondary issue that may or may not be related to malware. My computer runs very, very slowly. No matter which browser I use, pages freeze for ages, scripts become unresponsive and sometimes the browsers and/or video players crash. Even just starting up the computer takes way longer than it should. I've done many virus scans over the past little while: Avast, ESET, AVG, TrendMicro, Spybot, MalwareBytes and probably some others I'm forgetting. I've also done various things to try to speed the computer up, like deleting seldom-used programs, disabling non-essential things from loading at startup, etc. It hasn't made any difference. (I'm sure there are more programs that can be deleted but I didn't know what some of them were and was afraid to touch them.) If someone can help me out I'd really appreciate it! My main concern is just to make sure the computer hasn't been compromised...but if it can be sped up, all the better! I do realize the computer is old and Windows XP is on its last legs so I'm not expecting a miracle. My logs: Malw

I'm getting a LOT of error messages and having to reboot all the time. Let me see if I can explain what is happening...if my explaination isn't clear..please ask me the questions you may need to know to be able to answer me Thanks. These things happen radomly. 'When oppening an application I get: Application failed to initialize properly.' Or "not enough quota is avialbe to process the command' I use PCcillen and have had tech support did an hour going through my computer and have stated that there are 'no virus's'. Outlook: Sometimes when I go into find a file I get this type of error: Application or DLL C:\Program Files\Common Files\Sytem\MAPI\1033\outex.dll is not a valid windows image. Please check this againt your installation diskette. (This not a valid windows image also occurs randomly) For outlook I have run the repair with orgianal disk. I have had browsers just 'close' I thought it may have been a fault with a particular browser however it happened to IE, Firefox and Safari. Don't know if these are related to the above. Now another strange occurrence is the 'top blue bar' of a browser seems to 'disappear' into thin air - if that makes sense - so it's hard to find the X button. Any ideas? I am running Advanced Windows Care (latest version) for registry fixes almost have to do that twice a day or more. (Computer is only 12 mth old) I also run Ibot defrag -always on in background. What else do you need to know to be able to help me? Thanks again. Ohhh I am just NOW getting anothermessage: TmProxy module experienece a critical error please reinstall program. Internal eror (-8/PH3/ENG00020000) No idea what TmProxy is? mumprenuer, Apr 22, 2008 #1 Sponsor kniht Joined: May 7, 2006 Messages: 1,763 tmproxy.exe is the executable for the PC-cillin antivirus software from Trend Micro.
