Illustrator "Can't move the objects". The requested transformation would make some objects fall completely off the drawing area" when importing a file from Freehand. The Freehand file is opened directly into Illustrator CS4.Davecc I have the same question Show 0 Likes(0) 1429Views Tags: none (add) This content has been marked as final. Show 2 replies 1. Re: Illustrator Error Message Judy_Arndt Oct 7, 2009 4:37 illustrator not enough ram PM (in response to davecc) Hi DaveI suspect you have an object off the pasteboard in the FH file. It can happen, for example, if a stray object on the pasteboard is accidentally grouped with others on a page, and the page is then moved to the edge of the pasteboard. FH allows it. Illustrator does not.I would open the file in FH, 'Select All in Document' (Cmd+Shift+A) and align to the center of a page in the center of pasteboard. This usually reveals some object that has strayed into the great unknown. Like Show 0 Likes(0) Actions 2. There's nothing else, significant, running. 1 Poblano OP Alfred9447 Jan 18, 2013 at 9:06 UTC What system are you running? How much ram? free drive space? We still don't know which version of Illustrator you are running. Do all other programs run normally, especially large ones like PhotoShop or Video production. You aren't giving us enough information so we're just making guesses. If there isn't enough free unfragmented drive space you might get a memory message even though ram isn't the problem. It could also be caused bey a corrupted file but again I'm guessing in the absence of information. 0 Pimiento OP rueben.skipper Mar 20, 2013 at 7:47 UTC 1st Post Go to .exe file in explorer.
