The video and printer drivers are all update to the latest versions. The spreadsheet is one she has used before on her older Windows XP Pro SP3 desktop with no problems. We have tried the "set the Zoom to 100% or less" excel there isn't enough memory to complete this action resolution that has been mentioned all over the web and it does not work. We are still having this issue. Does anyone know how to resolve this in Excel 2010. I have seen the "solutions" for Excel XP, 7, 2000, 2003 and 2007 and they don't seem to work, or at least the ones I have tried! :-) Would welcome all serious suggestions. Mahalo Nui Loa! These two spreadsheets don't really have a lot of data or any major calculations in them. One spreadsheet has two worksheets and the larger of the two has only about 50 rows with about 15 columns and simple SUM calculations. The other has about 6 worksheets and the other spreadsheet has about 5 worksheets with the larger worksheet having50 rows with about a dozen columns and only one SUM calculation. They are not complicated spreadsheets to say the least. Plus, I think I may have mentioned that this happens intermittently.... sigh! I really appreciate the suggestion and the link. I may just tell the user to recreate the spreadsheets from scratch (no copy/pasting) and see how that goes. Mahalos for the help! M

Hi 55 horses, Do you have a minimum of memory on your machine? More memory might help? Do you have lots of files open? Have you been building this userform for a long time and have used up the maximum number of controls that can be placed on a form? Do you have a LOT of Objects on your sheets that you don't know are really there? Do a Find and Select Goto Special and click Objects to find out. Delete all non used objects. Is this the only form that is open? Opening lots of forms or having forms open forms may result in this problem. Do you have VBA code running that is caught in a loop that is building variables in memory so it is used up, and you don't know? It is hard to tell from just a screen shot of the error message. One test is worth a thousand opinions. Click the * below to say thanks. Advertisement njpacheco Thread Starter Joined: Nov 13, 2007 Messages: 45 Help! I have a problem with Microsoft Excel 2003. Everytime I open Excel (any spreadsheet or even a new spreadsheet) i get an error message about "not enough system resources to display completely" I have a Thinkpad T60 running Microsoft XP. I have installed 4G of RAM but only 3G are recognized by system. I have a 320G drive of which only 96G is used. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing. I ran CCcleaner. The error message pops up whenever i open any spreadsheet and even if I click ok it reappears when i move from cell to cell or do anything in excel making it virtually unusable. Any help to fix this would be great. njpacheco, Oct 21, 2009 #1 Sponsor etaf Wayne Moderator Joined: Oct 2, 2003 Messages: 60,961 theres an interesting reply to that problem with a number of suggestions to do with 1) Add-ins, 2) Excel Start 3) toolbar http://www.pcreview.co.uk/forums/thread-2308531.php its quite OLD etaf, Oct 22, 2009 #2 njpacheco Thread Starter Joined: Nov 13, 2007 Messages: 45 :-( I tried everything in this old thread. I'm very curious about this statement here. Is the memory compatible? I would definitely check into it. A great online resource is http://www.crucial.com.
