I'm using CS6 Extended 64-bit and my comp specs are:Windows 7 Pro16 gigs of DDR3 memoryIntel i-7 second gen chipATI Radeon 5500 with 2 gigs onboard memoryAnd all of my stuff is not enough ram up to date - including PS. I've allocated 75% of the system memory to PS in the preferences. Thoughts? Re: Photoshop CS6 Not Enough Memory error Curt Y Jun 17, 2013 5:52 PM (in response to beldave) Without knowing exactly what you are doing when running into the error it is hard to say. But the memory error may not necessarily be ram. It could be insufficient scratch disk space, or hd space, or the process just gets bogged down and fills up buffers. When it happens again take note of what you have just been doing. If you have a lot of layers and large numbers of history states it can eat up perhaps more than 100 gigs of scratch disk. You only need 2 gigs allocated to the OS so you can probably up your percentage a little. Hope it helps other people. As a Photoshop CC user experiencing a crippling issue I wanted to post this here in case other people are in a similar position. Hi, - First the problem(s): Using Photoshop CC has revealed new issues I never had with CS4 with Ram running out preventing any actions. This happens no matter what the image resolution is, small or large, and once it happens I literally cant edit or save the project. (This is from a google search to show the pop up. I do not have a Mac - but the error is identical) This error or notice pops up whenever I try to save, use a brush etc. Even if I flatten my document down into one layer and change the image size to something smaller it wont let me save it. It wont even let me take a Print Screen screenshot. My only option is Snipping Tool to save what I have worked on. - I have gone in and made sure to adjust the amount of available ram that phot
