Excel 2007-2016 users tend to see them more than Excel 2003 users. Microsoft re-wrote large portions of Excel when they released 2007. This re-write appears to have affected memory usage. The conclusion we reached from the much testing is that COM add-ins are the major cause of memory issues. COM add-ins sneak onto your PC without permission (or clearly asking). Routinely check and remove them. The two COM add-ins we have seen that cause memory issues are Adobe and Blue Tooth. We have never seen a need for them in Excel. They should be removed immediately. COM add-ins are compiled computer code that manages their own memory. Often at the expense of Excel, especia

User is printing not enough a document from a template. Printer has about 72MB RAM installed. Last week, after installing the memory, things were going fine. I even changed the print driver to PCL 5e. PCL 6 was giving me too much of a headache. Anyway, I come in this morning and she is getting an out of memory error whenever she tries to print. It is the same template, just different information. Any suggestions? (I don't recall the 2200 having a display though.) What application is this? With the document open, select page setup, then options. This should open the printer properties. Some applications save the printer settings with the document, so if you changed the driver these could have gotten pooched. Probability factor of one to one...we have normality, I repeat we have normality. Anything you still can't cope with is therefore your own problem. I have completely removed all the print drivers and only have the PCL 5e installed. The printer itself doesn't generate an error, meaning no warning lights or anything like that. The 2200 does not have a screen, but the 2300 does. This happens only in certain documents where the only thing that has changed was the information, not the template. Have you checked the swap file settings, # of applications ru
