Outlook Has Insufficient Memory Attachment
Word (2003) are giving the "out of memory..." error. It started with just one user but is now outlook memory full error happening with more and more users each day. The machines are all CAD spec machines (pretty beefy) some running XP and some 7. Some seem to only do there is not enough free memory to run this program exit one or more programs and then try again it on certain emails. When it comes to printing, if you use word to read the emails, it throws the error as word loads but will still let you print. If you use outlook to read emails it throws up the same error https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2329201 but cant print at all. Ive looked all over the net for different solutions but struggled to find anything that seemed to relate specifically to our problem. There is more than enough memory available, theres more than enough hard drive space and the page file is set to at least 10gig on each machine. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. 'Cos Word is called from within Outlook, we haven't got any closer as to who is the culprit, but Win TM doesn't show any obvious memory leaks or degradation.... My next step is to reload Office on a test box and see if that resolves the issue, but I'll only get to that next week, with a bit of luck. At present our solution is to kick off unneeded apps and then reboot -our symptoms are that if left for too long, you can't even reboot the box, but have to bounce it hard to get going again. :-( 0 Jalapeno OP Scottomatic Jul 30, 2010 at 11:29 UTC Are you guys seeing anything odd in the System or Application event logs? 0 Jalapeno OP Mr. G Aug 2, 2010 at 1:42 UTC Nothing unusual, in my case - I managed to do a test reload on a spare box over the weekend, but it's working just fine :-( No closer to the problem...but now I find that a backup of the machine takes about
