CAUSE This problem triggers, when there is insufficient Outlook memory to display the folder. There could be one or multiple reasons for the cause of this issue. Due to this error, not enough the user is unable to archive mailbox items, add a large file or even add new contact to the contact list. This error message is generally displayed when Outlook mailbox has reached its maximum size limit. Another reason, which can trigger this problem, is the customization setting that you have made to view folder (for example you may have applied any filter). When using BCM for Outlook, the add-in activates there is not every folder in the store profile, which eventually consumes memory. Such shared memory can create large accumulation of folders and items and hence deplete the memory. RESOLUTION To fix this insufficient memory error, follow the below provided manual method that explains how to modify the registry. Although serious issues may appear to the user, if the registry is modified incorrectly. For this, make sure the steps are followed precisely. For additional purpose of safety, you may take the backup of the registry (based upon your Windows OS) prior to performing the modifications. So that if any problems appears, then you can successfully restore it. MANUAL WORKAROUND 1. Close Outlook application. 2. Go to Start button, then click Run and write regedit. Hit enter. 3. Search and then click the following registry subkey: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows Messaging Subsystem 4. Go to Edit menu, and then point to New. Now select DWORD Value. 5. Type SharedMemMaxSize, and again hit Enter. 6. Perform right-click operation on SharedMemMaxSize, and then select Modify. 7. Type 300000 in the Value data box. Select the default Base of Hexadecimal. 8. Select OK. 9. Find and then select the below given registry subkey: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows Messaging Subsystem\Applications\Outlook Note in case, Outlook subkeys do not exist, then you may have to create the Applications. 10.
