So here goes.Got a macbook pro with OS X 10.6.8 running on it, 4GB RAM and a 320GB hard drive with ~60GB used. Client has Office 2011 installed, and their problem is with Outlook. When you open Outlook, all seems fine, but when you send/receive, you get an error code -108 Not Enough Memory with the ! mark. You can't send, can't receive, it just stops with that not enough http://www.dslreports.com/forum/r28290475-Outlook-2011-Not-Enough-Memory-error memory error. What I have tried so far:Googled this issue, and found this page from MS about it:»support.microsoft.com/kb/2535724It says it can be caused by preferences, or database damage. I followed the steps they outlined there to check the permissions, as well as rebuilding the database, and it had no effect. The only step I didn't do was creating a new identity, but in my searching, found a post by someone that said they had tried that and it didn't work. Removing and reinstalling Outlook fixed it for that person, but since I don't have the software on hand, I would prefer to fix it without going that far if at all possible.Anyone come across this problem? · actions · 2013-May-14 5:12 pm · MrNojoin:2001-05-05Chicago, IL MrNo Member 2013-May-16 2:33 pm Is this an exchange account or no? If it is, you should not try to repair the database, as it can be counter productive. Namely it will duplicate most of the items in your exchange account. If that is the case, delete the account from Outlook and the files from Microsoft User Data, and then try to re create it. Also, did you ask the user if he/she has enough space on the HD? · actions · 2013-May-16
