You need to logout and login again and then it is ok. But is ther any way to avoid this? admin extensions system.xml 404-page acl share|improve this question edited Mar 7 at http://magento.stackexchange.com/questions/13924/how-to-avoid-404-error-on-new-extension-installation 23:12 fschmengler 30.5k1058178 asked Jan 27 '14 at 9:36 JohnyFree 5331517 I don't believe so, the ACL tree is loaded when you log in and stored in the users session. –Peter O'Callaghan Jan 27 '14 at 9:56 I have one idea but I don't know if it is possible. A possible workaround would be to override the _isSectionAllowed method in system configuration controller: (Mage_Adminhtml_System_ConfigController::_isSectionAllowed) and make it reload the ACL tree. Something like: protected function _isSectionAllowed($section) { $session = Mage::getSingleton('admin/session'); $session->setAcl(Mage::getResourceModel('admin/acl')->loadAcl());//reload the tree return parent::_isSectionAllowed($secntion); //all the code fro

Check what page should be opened after login and whether you have the rights in ACL (->session!). –Fabian Blechschmidt Nov 1 '13 at 23:29 Thanks @Fabian Blechschmidt, I already solved using this tip: stackoverflow.com/questions/18724995/magento-404-on-admin-page –mageUz Nov 1 '13 at 23:48 4 This question appears to be off-topic because the problem went away on it's own (stated in the comments.) –Marius♦ Mar 7 '14 at 14:54 add a comment| active oldest votes Browse other questions tagged admin 404-page or ask your own question. asked 2 years ago viewed 7255 times Related 5Transferring Magento website, admin panel URL gives 4040404 Error when clicking Add Reviews in Admin Panel1Admin Extension redirects to frontend 404 page after update from 1.9.0.1 to 1.9.2.00Magento Admin: Display 40
