This answer might be useful (http://superuser.com/questions/485722/h … n-grub-cfg). You can edit your grub.cfg by booting into the flashdrive and then mounting your system the same way you installed it. I'm attempting to install Arch on my Acer laptop (Aspire V3-772G-9653) by dual-booting with windows 8.1. I've used the universal USB creator to create a bootable not found USB, but whenever I boot off of it, it says it failed to start the loader, which should be called "loader.efi"I can select OK, go to a "hash tool main menu" where it wants me to enroll a hash, which I have absolutely no idea what it's referring to.I looked on the installation guide on the arch wiki, and I'm thinking that maybe I need to disable secure boot and fast boot? At any linux not found rate, I have no idea what to do, and one of my friends who uses arch on a regular basis has no idea what the problem is. Where should it be? Do I have a broken .iso? Taco Bell (Offline) posts, joined: #4 Log in or register to post comments posted 2 years 8 months ago Looks under the secure boot section. You really do need to have the wiki open when you do an arch install. You save time and headaches by going with manjaro it still is arch. Morgoth780 (Offline) posts, joined: #5 Log in or register to post comments posted 2 years 8 months ago I managed to find it. I'll look into Manjaro. Thanks for your help!
