my laptop. I have downloaded and installed tool chain (arm-linux_3.3.2_V1.0_Build11080410.sh) as instructed by the documentation that I am using. I included the path for the tool chain (export https://ubuntuforums.org/archive/index.php/t-1881251.html PATH=/usr/local/arm-linux/bin:$PATH). I attempted to run a sample program using the make command as instructed by the documentation. Can anyone help urgently? carrantyNovember 15th, 2011, 12:47 PMI'm not sure, but it are you sure gcc is installed? Running dpkg --status gcc from a not found terminal will tell you if it is or not. If not, install it with sudo apt-get install gcc carrantyNovember 15th, 2011, 12:55 PMIgnore that last comment, it won't help. I suspect your problem is you either haven't installed tool chain correctly or you've specified the wrong path. Run ls /usr/local/arm-linux/bin/arm-linux-gcc If it doesn't output anything the file isn't there, but your telling the program to look arm linux gcc there. 213WayneNovember 15th, 2011, 12:56 PMYes it is. wayne@ubuntu:/tmp/example/hello$ sudo apt-get install gcc [sudo] password for wayne: Reading package lists... I don't see any attachments to the documentation, could you try reuploading them, or send me a link to where I can download it. I'd also like to see the arm-linux-gcc file if possible. I'll try installing it myself and see if it throws up the same error, can you let me know where you downloaded it from, I can't seem to find it online. EDIT : Another thought, where on your computer is the makefile? It looks like its that the program can't find...... 213WayneNovember 15th, 2011, 01:20 PMThank you carrantyNovember 15th, 2011, 01:36 PMCan you let me know where you downloaded it from? 213WayneNovember 15th, 2011, 01:52 PMI got it off a disk.
