I've been struggling for days trying to figure out http://www.sysprobs.com/install-update-snow-leopard-hazard-1064-vmware-player why I get the com.apple.Boot.plist is depreciated warning on boot which requires a key press to continue. This makes unmonitored rebooting of the machine impossible. There is no com.apple.Boot.plist in my /Extra or /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/ folder. I'm using Chimera 1.7. Then delete the .plist file you have changed. Copy the version from the Desktop into the proper folder. An even better idea is that system config file you shouldn't change that file. It requires no change. (And I'm a complete newbie: I'd only ever used Macs until now so it's the first time I even saw a BIOS screen! Had to play with it to disable legacy USB) Everything's been working fine for a week, including sleep (except for audio) however I've just hit a major setback: - on wake-up from sleep, the mini crashed (spinning wheel on frozen screen saver, display not coming back) so after 5 minutes I decided to reboot - on reboot, I got this very short message instead of booting: "System config file '/com.apple.boot.S/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist' not found" I tried forcing a reboot on the SSD from the Type11's Boot132 (v5.2) but to no avail: always gives me the same error message above. I can still boot on Leopard install disk, but Disk Utility or Terminal don't find the 32GB SSD volume. (I used 2 USB flash drives for Boot132 and Leopard install) Anyone got an idea of the problem/possible solution? Thanks for the help, Phew PS I searched the forum, this post mentions the same error message but during the install process only: http://www.mydellmini.com/forum/type...130.html#p5661 Phew View Publ
