Dreamweaver Cc 2015 Database Connection
HTTP Error Code 404 vote! undo vote! dandan Posted 27 Oct 2006 21:27:11 Hello, I am a new how to setup testing server in dreamweaver cs6 to Dreamweaver, and I was trying to follow the sample application described in the 'Getting Started' from help. Everything went fine up to trying to Creating a Database Connection https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cd-DYCtcJpk where I have the 404 error. I realize that it must be something with the location of my files, but I believe I have everything all right. I have followed the example stept by step and all the other tests went just fine. Can anyone please help me get out of this dead end?!Thank you in advance !Regards,Dan Replies DanBread http://www.dmxzone.com/forum/topic/36615/ Replied 15 Nov 2006 13:57:51 Hello There, Did you find a solution to this problem in the end? I only ask as I am having the exact same problem. It is so damned frustrating, spent the past 2 days trauling google and various forums and there seem to be so many conflicting instructions. I am using xampp by the way and the only thing that I see that seems to be wrong is in the MinMySQLAdmin window, where under Environment, the MyODBC panel simply says "Not found. Driver 3.51 not found."Christ almighty! I have searched google for a solution to this and as to whether it is even relevent to what I am trying to do (connect to the mysql database in Dreamweaver for a login page for my website) and can never seem to find a straightforward answer to the problem.Any help would be seriously appreciated - for example the information that I have/should have typed into the site definition. Also, why does xampp come with both MySQL and Apache - aren't they both servers?Cheers,Dan Ala

Here are some possible reasons for the problem: 1) There is no testing server running on the server machine. 2) The testing server specified for this site does not map to the "http://localhost/LabelSite/_mmServerScripts/MMHTTPDB.php URL."Verify that the URL Prefix maps to the root of the site. I googled and try a bunch of ways but none of them work. Here is what I've already tried: 1)copying MMHTTPDB.php and mysql.php to /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/LabelSite/_mmServerScripts 2)changing the web url to "http://localhost/8888/LabelSite" But none of them worked Here is how I set my site by dreamweaver: I did select server model to be "PHP MYSQL" on the advanced tag of Servers Any advice would be appreciated, thanks! mysql dreamweaver share|improve this question asked Oct 21 '14 at 5:27 Demonedge 407315 add a comment| 1 Answer 1 active oldest votes up vote 1 down vote I solved this by changing Web Url in the site's testing servers to "http://localhost:8888/LabelSite/" Now I get rid of th
