I run FS9 on Windows 7 and my PC spec is pretty good. Admittedly I have loads of added scenery (pay- & Freeware) but all has been running well until recently. Now when I start up, I get an error message which reads "YOUR COMPUTER HAS RUN OUT OF AVAILABLE MEMORY. FLIGHT SIMULATOR WILL NOW EXIT. YOU MAY NOT HAVE ENOUGH FREE SPACE ON YOUR HARD DRIVE. RUN DISK CLEANUP TO FREE UP SPACE, AND THEN TRY RUNNING FLIGHT SIMULATOR AGAIN." All very well but there is actually 402GB of free space avai

Your computer has run out of available memory. Flight simulator will now http://www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/threads/out-of-memory.74615/ exit. You may not have enough free space on your hard disk drive. Run disk cleanup to free up space, and then try running Flight Simulator again.Click to expand... ...and you have to dance the jig with virtual memory settings as suggested by MS at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/892610 This issue may occur if one of the following conditions is true: Your hard disk drive does not have sufficient space available to play Flight Simulator. The Microsoft Windows paging file is corrupted. Should read: FS has corrupted not start your windows paging settings or whatever else we can't figure out and really don't care to. We are aware of the issue reported many times but we won't do to fix it. Has anyone figured out a permanent fix? Oh I know the fix works for doing it many times, it's just a pain though. I'm running W7 btw. My next step of course was to surf the net. I found several explanations, actually it's more like thousands but one got me on
