Oracledbconsole The System Cannot Find The File Specified
I mean letting Oracle run as a local host and this issue will be figured out. SOLUTION: In the directory oracle_unqname not defined ORACLE_HOMEoc4jj2ee, (in my PC, the specified path looks as C:app????product11.1.0db_1oc4jj2ee) there is a directory OC4J_DBConsole_localhost_orcl or OC4J_DBConsole_HOSTNAME_orcl.make a copy (or set a link) from the directory and rename it to the specified name. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/15693755/error-code-2-starting-oracledbconsole-service So you have two directoryOC4J_DBConsole_localhost_orclOC4J_DBConsole_HOSTNAME_orcl Then it will be workings fine Like this:Like Loading... I'm trying to install Oracle 11g DB on Windows XP Pro SP3, the machine is on a domain and has a fix IP address and no access to internet. At the end of the installation I get a pop message with this message:"Enterprise Manager Configuration failed due to the followingerror -Error starting Database ControlRefer to the log file at C:\app\Administrator\cfgtoollogs\dbca\orcl\emConfig.log for more detailsYou can retry configuring this DB with Enterprise Manager later by manually runningC:\app\Administrator\product\11.1.0\db_1\BIN\emca script" The folder in "%ORA_HOME%\oc4j\j2ee" was called: "OC4J_DBConsole_MACHINENAME.DOMAINNAME_orcldev", so I made 3 different copies of it:1. OC4J_DBConsole_MACHINENAME_orcldev2. OC4J_DBConsole_IPADDRESS_orcldev3. OC4J_DBConsole_localhost_orcldevBut nothing seems to be working. when I run "emctl status dbconsole" I'm still getting "Oracle Enterprise Manager 11g is not running." and when I run "emctl start dbconsole" I always end up getting an error saying the service couldn't start. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
