The installer tell that BusinessNotification.logging.dll is missing. I searched altiris notification server the installer source and this file exists more than 7 times but on different folders. Is there any solution for thi issue ? Thanks 0 Nobody Member Posts: 93 2006-09-06 The file probably is not missing it is just that the path name is so long it can not read it. Two options: Install from the SP1 CD through the splash screen Extract a new copy of the disk1 image on the drive (do not move or copy it) and map a drive to the \Disk1\Additional Interfaces\BusinessNotificationServer folder and install by running the setup.exe that will shorten the path. 0 vyanku Member Posts: 791 2006-09-07 I also get the error on installing Business Notifiation Server That "CustmContactFormatter.dll.config" file not found. Also"BusinessNotification.logging.dll " not found I try to install through splash. This is the error message : An error occured while trying to connect to Navision. Please make sure Navision Client is running. No connection can be made because the target machine actively refused it. What could it possibly mean? Later on we decided to move on to notification server sql-2005. we just uninstalled the sql-2000 and put in sql-2005. and if we now try to install the BN we get an error that a previous instance of BN still exists. now the situation is that we can't uninstall the previous BN, and neither we can push notification server install a new one. " •In the status bar, when you hover the cursor over the job server icon : notification server error (BODI-1241023) •We are able to execute and schedule jobs in the Management Console Test of the 2 way communication (according to SAP KB 1416303) 1. Designer --> Job Server on the pc : telnet deks01068 3500 --> succesful deks01068 = hostname running the job server 3500 = port of the job server 2.
