I npswf32.dll location went to the location above to see if I could find the file- NPSWF32.dll, but it's not there. There is a macromed and Flash folder but it is empty inside. I downloaded the NPSWF32.dll and tried to put it in the flash folder but the system wouldn't let me. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but I keep getting the same error. it is driving me insane, please help me if you are familiar with this problem. i googled this and saw that a lot of people had this problem as well but i've yet to find a working solution. Here is a solution for your problem: Try to create only ONE(!!) Folder in C:\WINDOWS\ If you have a 32Bit OS, create ONLY the Folder macromed in /System32/, if you have a 64Bit OS, create ONLY the macromed Folder in /SysWOW64/ The absolute path for your PC is: "C:\WINDOWS\SysWOW64\macromed\flash\mms.cfg" The content of the "mms.cfg" - file should be ProtectedMode=0 I got a 64Bit OS and it works for me great with the latest NPSWF32.dll ( 11.8 ) on my pc with firefox portable 24!! So try to create only ONE mms.cfg
