Some days ago -- it didn't boot up and said the following ---- "Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt:\system32\ntoskrnl.exePlease reinstall a copy of the above file"I then started following the methods to resolve this problem, as per my understanding from the Microsoft http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-performance/ntoskrnlexe14d4e9-error-message-5x-per-day/4e718f2f-d3bc-49e8-a30a-70ef9998aa7c support site ---http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/29653-63-windows-root-system32-ntoskrnl-missing-corruptNone of the 4 methods worked for me --Please see below the output on the DOS prompt for all those four attempts --1)the first method to edit the boot.ini file was impossible because the windows always went into DOS mode into C:windows> prompt. I don't know how to edit boot.ini file from there.
