of Nagwin_1.2.0 on a Windows 2008 R2 64-bit server. The install finishes but none of the services windows 7 ntp server are installed and obviously can't be started. After trying to get the app to work, I end up running the uninstall app, delete the ICW directory and ran CCleaner to get rid of any

orphaned files in the registry before I tried the install again only to have the same results. Does this version of Nagwin (1.2.0) work with 64bit Windows 2008 R2? If so, how do I install this app and make sure the related services are created? My question is almost exactly as > /node/12750 Thanks in advance for your windows 2012 ntp server help. Thanks for the response. When you are installing it (or installed it), did you use the local admin account or a domain admin account? The service account is deleted during the uninstall as I can't seem to find it anywhere after running the uninstall app. I am prepared to run the install again but wonder what credentials should be used. setup passwordmanager on iis5 on windows 2003 r2. When any user inputs his/hers user name, password, they get error code 2245 eventhough their windows 7 ntp client passwords are long enough. Any ips? I've looked in the even log on the server and i don't get any errors. jarus323 New Posts: 1Joined: Mon Jan 07, 2008 10:56 pm Top by alorbach » Wed Jan https://www.itefix.net/content/problems-during-service-account-generation-error-2245 16, 2008 11:40 am Dear jarus, I am sorry for the delayed response. Error 2245 (NERR_PasswordTooShort) can have different meanings. I can mean the password is to short, to long or does not meet the password policies. One typical issue on Windows 2003 R2 is explained in this article: http://www.passwordmanager.com/en/FAQ/min-password-age-policy.php -- Hopefully this will help. best regards, Andre Lorbach alorbach Site Admin Posts: 1622Joined: Thu Feb 13, 2003 11:55 am Website Top Google Ads http://kb.monitorware.com/new-password-short-error-code-2245-t1407.html Display posts from previous: All posts1 day7 days2 weeks1 month3 months6 months1 year Sort by AuthorPost timeSubject AscendingDescending Post a reply 2 posts • Page 1 of 1 Return to PasswordManager Jump to: Select a forum ------------------ Adiscon Support MonitorWare Product Line MonitorWare Agent MonitorWare Console EventReporter WinSyslog Database Questions MoniLog ActiveLogger Adiscon Logger PocketSyslog IISLogger AliveMon librelp SyslogAppliance EventConsolidator Tools PasswordManager PocketHostnames SimpleMail Productivity Applications NewsMerge PocketPasswords WinHelpDesk RSyslog General Installation Configuration Developer's Corner External Plugins Windows Agent Deutsches rsyslog Forum LogAnalyzer General Installation Help Future Versions Developer's Corner Knowledge Base Windows Eventlog Other Forums Windows related Windows Server 2003 Windows-Expert Network Talk Windows Events Configuring Syslog liblognorm Who is online Users browsing this forum: No registered users and 0 guests Board index The team • Delete all board cookies • All times are UTC [ DST ] Powered by phpBB Forum Software © phpBB Group Time : 0.174s | 12 Queries | GZIP : On

Can anyone offer a step by step? It seemed to be installing OK until I windows 7 ntp got to the step where it asked me to create a "special NTP account." I entered a name, password, and confirmed the password, but just get message "The user account XXXX could not be created. Please try again or create it manually. (ERROR 2245)" How to create it manually? 73, Bill NZ5N --- In wsjtgroup@yahoogroups.com, Dave Ackrill
