[closed] up vote 0 down vote favorite I'm trying to write a line to a text file in Delphi 7 with the code below, but it gave this error: "Raised Exception Class EInOutError with 'I/O error 32'" AssignFile(trackertxt, 32 o 64 'tracker.txt'); ReWrite(trackertxt); WriteLn(trackertxt, 'left'+':'+':'); CloseFile(trackertxt); It's not being used by any other application, yet it still gives error 32. (Also need it to overwrite the current content in the text file). delphi text-files ioerror share|improve this question edited Apr 29 '13 at 22:25 Rob Kennedy 129k13191354 asked Apr 29 '13 at 20:49 Penian4 1252213 closed as not a real question by David Heffernan, ldav1s, Frank Schmitt, Jean, Derek 朕會功夫 Apr 30 '13 at 22:15 It's difficult to tell what is being asked here. But if I don't, it pops up with the box multiple times and doesn't stop. Could anyone o error 32 tell me what could possibly be causing this? It's starting to get annoying. Have you scanned lately and what did you use? If not, do you have some device, or network location your system is trying to access or some program that is running? #2 Saltgrass, Jul 12, 2012 trtthesickness New MemberJoined:Jun 11, 2012Messages:6Likes Received:0 I actually recently checked my system for viruses/malware and it said it came up with nothing. I doubt it's trying to access anything, but it could be a program, just have no idea what program it might be. EDIT: I used AVG, btw. #3 trtthesickness, Jul 12, 2012 Last edited: Jul 12, 2012 Pauli Extraordinary Member Premium SupporterJoined:Mar 1, 2012Messages:2,499Likes Received:211 It would seem that you try to pick a file with one application that is reserved by another application. Check what applications you're dealing with when this happens. Not disastrous, I think. Annoying, maybe. #4 Pauli, Jul 16, 2012 (You must log in or sign up to post here.)Show Ignored ContentShare This Page Tweet Loading...Log in wi
