A file I/O error has occurred" (Adobe Pro 8.0). I received this error when I was trying to saved a PDF file over 2GB. I identified the issue to be "Allow fast web view". This option does not allow the output file to be very big! Solution: From Tool bar select 'edit' --> References --> from Categories select "Internet"--> and deselect "allow fast web view" Good luck, and I hope this should be the solution for others as well!
