I put in live CD, it goes beyond that, othervise not.Please suggest. I gues running fsck in rescue mode should do something to solve the thing ? First I've downloaded the ISO and burned the Live CD.After I choose 'Boot Arch Linux (x86_64)' I got buffer i/o error on device sr0 centos this:Probing EDD (edd=off to disable)... ok early console in decompress_kernel Decompressing Linux... You say the same CD works on your friends machine?What media are you using? You might try a CD-R instead of a CD+R or a CD RW. Avoid DVD media all together.Is booting from USB an option? Is booting from PXE (network boot) an option?
