Re: I can't print to PDF from Illustrator CS3 KarenSC Aug 7, 2008 9:29 PM (in response to (Brooke_Templeton)) There's either an offending object or a corrupt font. You can try these: 1. first make a copy of the file. 2. Select All/Convert text to outlines and make PDF. Does that work? 3. If not, start a new file. Copy and paste each item individually to the new file and try to make a pdf each time. You will soon work out the offending item. Solved PostScript Error: invalidrestore Posted on 2008-10-24 Printers and Scanners 1 Verified Solution 3 Comments 1,511 Views Last Modified: 2013-11-05 I have offending command several users here (All Windows XP machines) that are receiving the below error when printing to a Lexmark Optra W810 PS printer. ERROR: invalidrestore OFFENDING COMMAND: restore STACK: -savelevel- -dictionary- -dictionary- -dictionary- -dictionary- -dictionary- Couple of things to note. This usually happens when they print out of Adobe Distiller. What's odd about this issue is that the document itself usually prints out fine error undefined offending without any visible issue, but then it prints an additional page with nothing but that error message on it. Solutions I've Tried 1. Reinstalling printer drivers on the user machine 2. Reinstalling printer driver on the print server 3. Reinstalling the offending Adobe application 4. Made sure Server 2003 is patched and up to date (Per suggestion in a microsoft KB article that described a similar error.) 5. Printed to a different printer, same document....no issues/error Thats all I can think of right now. Let me know if you need additional information. -Diresu 0 Question by:Diresu Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Google LVL 37 Active today Best Solution byhdhondt The error is the printer's way of telling you something is wrong with the data it receives.
