(Top posting fixed - see http://www.caliburn.nl/topposting.html) Not sure - I'm no LDAP expert. You might try is: 1. Quit all applications that communicate over the network but Entourage. 2. Open a terminal window, and enter this command: sudo tcpdump -s 0 -A -i en0 port 389 3. Now make Entourage connect to the LDAP server and watch the output in the terminal window. You should see a dump of the communication between Entourage and the LDAP server, including the search base. You will probably see the exact error
