23, 2005. Guest Guest I have a few users that cannot display Outlook forms. They get the following Outlook error: "An error occurred registering the form in the OLE registry." Once they try to access the forms and get this error, Outlook will always hang on the application shutdown. The Custom Form is published in Public Folder; These machines are all running on Windows Xp Professional SP1 with MS Office XP. When these users are set as Power User, they cannot display any form. When they are set as Administrator, they can display forms. I have deleted the frmcache.dat file, but i can't delete the Usrclass.dat. The error is "The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process" and the problem it persists http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;320835 any idea??? Thank's Guest, Feb 23, 2005 #1 Advertisements Guest Guest I'm not sure which app could have a lock on usrclass.dat, so shut down everything and try deleting it again. Also try deleting after a fresh boot, or in Safe Mode. -- Eric Legault - B.A, MCP, MCSD, Outlook MVP -------------------------------------------------- {Private e-mails ignored} Job: http://www.imaginets.com Blog: http://blogs.officezealot.com/legault/ "Phenix" wrote: > I have a few users that cannot display Outlook forms.
