Even though any program that uses ContinueLoop can be rewritten using If-ElseIf-EndIf statements, ContinueLoop can make long scripts easier to understand. Be careful with

I have a msgbox() function where the text is a little long, and for the sake of keeping the code looking clean, I want to continue the code on a new line. I currently don't see a way of accomplishing this. For example, I want to do something like this. $confirm = msgbox(321, "Check Information", "Confirmation Number: " & @LF & "Amount: $") This returns a syntax error and points to the on error goto end of the first line as being the location of the error. autoit share|improve this question asked Feb 3 '12 at 22:09 Mechaflash 3,928154784 2 +1 for a good question. Being able to continue a command on another line helps a TON with readability. –Daniel Haley Feb 3 '12 at 22:30 add a comment| 1 Answer 1 active oldest votes up vote 10 down vote accepted Place an underscore at the end of the line: $confirm = msgbox(321, "Check Information", "Confirmation Number: " & @LF & _ "Amount: $") share|improve this answer answered Feb 3 '12 at 22:25 Daniel Haley 28.1k33660 awesome. works how I wanted it to =D.
