Outlook 2010 Operation Failed When Creating Account
Went to Find and Fix Problems in Control Panel. Clicked "Run Programs made for previous versions of Windows". Went through the process. After that, program opened,
Outlook More Settings Requested Operation Failed
but "User Account Control" popped up. Clicked the "Yes". All seemed well until I went to add another e-mail address. I can enter settings for the new e-mail account, I can also enter the settings under "Advanced Settings", but when I click "Next" I get "The requested operation failed." If I don't click outlook 2013 operation failed the "Next" button (after entering the advanced settings) and just click "Check Connection" it works, but when I click "Next", I get "The requested operation failed." I have uninstalled and reinstalled Office, gone through the "Mr. Fix It" wizard, tried "outlook.exe /resetnavpane" suggested in a Forum, and even gone to Properties under Outlook.exe and tried to run the application in Windows 7 and Vista, SP2 mode. I am running Windows 7, Office 2010. I have no idea which forum to post in... sorry if I am in the wrong place, please advise. I am stuck. Please help.
