While I was trying to figure out if I should write log on scripts or to use GPOs for certain things, I've noticed that this 2003 Server is missing the NETLOGON folder. The SYSVOL http://serverfault.com/questions/669748/server-2003-missing-netlogon-folder and the Policies (GPO) folder is there, just not NETLOGON. I've tried most of the answers on Google with no luck, including playing with the BurFlags and NTFRS. The only thing I haven't tried is the DCGPOFIX command. And I'm not to sure if it will be relevant as I still do have the 'Policies' folder for Group Policy, and Group Policy is working fine. Does anyone have any suggestions? Here is a dump of the error from dcdiag and there are no other errors on the DC: Starting test: NetLogons Unable to connect to the NETLOGON share! I'm wondering if your users are authenticating or if they are just using cached credentials. This would be a way of non-disruptive testing. –Citizen Feb 19 '15 at 1:39 Hi Paul, yeah everyone can log in fine. I'd already created a test account to play with, and I myself can log into all the machines myself on my own account on the domain. -Min –veno
