2007. intrepidlily Guest I can't get Outlook to connect properly to my POP3 email. When sending and receiving, I can send just fine, but as soon as it gets to receive, the user name/password prompt pops up.

If you're getting the same error in outlook express, it really sounds like there's a problem with the user name and/or password and it isn't an outlook issue. For your user name, are you including @cox.net? If you are, don't. If you aren't, I doubt it'll fix it, but try with it.
