ORA-12505: TNS:listener does not currently know of SID given in connect descriptor (DBD ERROR: OCIServerAttach) I have searched forum here and there. I checked the tnsnames.ora and listener.ora file. It looks correct. The strange thing is that we have 4 database instances on the server. All other instances are working except only one. tnsnames or listener.ora file never been changed. But suddenly one database got this https://community.oracle.com/thread/2403111?db=5 problem. Could anyone help this issue, please?
