Is this serious? Can I fix it? eMac PPC G4, Mac OS X (10.4.7) Posted on Sep 11, 2007 5:29 AM I have this question too Close Q: Error code - 8065 All replies Helpful answers by JMVP,★Helpful JMVP Sep 11, 2007 7:53 PM in response to Carl Szablak Level 6 (16,840 points) Sep 11, 2007 7:53 PM in response to Carl Szablak Where did the .mov file originally come from? Error code -8065 is associated with file copy errors to Windows platforms using the SMB service and was addressed back in the 10.4.2 update, so it's presence here in that context would be unexpected. That error also showed up in 10.4.1 when trying to move a file into an open folder which already contains an identically named file, but that again would be a surprisw since your profile shows 10.4.7. You may want to try installing the OS X Update Combo 10.4.10 (PPC) update and see if that resolves the problem. (Be sure to let the Mac complete the double startup after finishing the install.) I was able to place the file into another folder. So I went back, trashed the unconverted file and was able to pt the file in question into the folder. I am running 10.4.10.
