But to answer your question: the error number you've stated indicates an Outlook error, not an Activesync or Pocket PC error. I suspect that your .pst file is corrupted. You might not notice this, until you sync your information. You can try to do one of the following to repair that: - run Detect and Repair in the Outlook help menu - run Scanpst.exe that was installed with your Outlook - deinstall Outlook, and reinstall it - use the solution mentioned in http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q305544 to create a new .pst file to sync with. -- Marlof Bregonje Microsoft MVP - Mobile Devices www.pocketpc.com What is an MVP? - http://support.microsoft.com/support/mvp Pocket PC Thoughts - http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com Top Microsoft Outlook error 80180B04 by Beverly Howar » Wed, 16 Jan 2002 08:46:41 Quote:>> In response to an offline message in case my goal was not clear<< In point of fact, I was attempting to prod gently before some of the really hard ass flamers stumbled across it, especially since it is not common knowledge among posters that they have the ability to delete their own messages after _misguided_ posts. The MS Knowledge Base has a suggestion -- which so far has worked -- but no commentary on "why" this has started to happen. Have also noticed http://forum.worldstart.com/showthread.php?p=2937 that Outlook is not always executing a complete exit (discovered through use of Windows Task Manager). Other than unistalling Outlook / reinstalling Outlook -- any ideas on ways to possibly eliminate the source of this problem? __________________ "I love Saturday morning cartoons, what classic humor!
