I'm using the Outlook client (not Outlook Express) to send/receive e-mail from POP/SMTP servers. It works great until I hibernate the laptop. After resuming, I log into a Limited account, start Outlook, enter passwords to access .pst files, and press Send/Receive. After a few moments, these errors appear in the 'Outlook Send/Receive Progress' box: ! Task 'pop.isp.com - Sending' reported error (0x80040201): 'Unknown Error 0x80040201' ! Task 'pop.isp.com - Receiving' http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/office_2010-outlook/cant-sendreceive-first-time-outlook-2010-wakes/d1accb3a-a8d3-4845-994f-666607a50830 reported error (0x80042108): 'Outlook is unable to connect to your incoming (POP3) e-mail server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP0).' After I Restart the laptop, no problem....... until the next time I hibernate. Is there a known POP/SMTP problem associated with hibernation? If not, how can I troubleshoot this problem further? I'm using a Dell E5400 notebook running Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit with Outlook 2007 connecting to a corporate Exchange server (not sure if it's Exchange 2007 or 2010).
