Solution When backups fail without any specific error message it is recommended to check the following: The mailbox may not have a SMTP address assigned to it. Ensure that each mailbox has a valid SMTP address. Log files may be full and may not be accepting new messages. Configure the Windows Event Log Settings to set the log to overwrite existing events as follows: On the Window taskbar, click Start. In the Search box, type Event Viewer. In the list of results, double-click Event Viewer. Click Properties. Select Overwrite events as needed (oldest events first). Click OK. Filtering data that consistently fails Symptom Some items are displayed consistently in the Items That Failed list when running the Job History Report. These items are locked by the operating system or application and cannot be opened at the time of the backup operation. Resolution Filter the files that appear in the Items That Failed list consistently on the backup Job History Report, and then exclude those files or folders during backup to avoid backup failure. Backup process remains in a pending state Symptom The backup processes might remain in pending state because of incorrect permissions set at the service account level. MAPI error: 0x8004010F 09/02/10 23:21:58: Migration completed with errors. This is taken from the migratorlog.log, I've also checked the http://www.zarafa.com/wiki/index.php/MAPI_error_codes which mentions: 0x8004010f MAPI_E_NOT_FOUND I've done further searching and Robin mention on another thread it maybe the user hasn't a store but I've checked with zarafa-admin --details user and there is a store, I'm now a bit stuck as to where look next. Its just typical to have appeared on the production box while my testing never show
