I have confirmed all the details of my pop3 accounts however I keep on geting the same error when I test the email account details... Shown below - Send test email message: Unable to send test email. You are on one domain but the SMTP mail host is on a different domain. You have yet to qualify to the mail host's domain that you have permission

The address, username and password are all correct. It actually worked 1 time. 2002 - Unable to send test message Discussion in 'Software' started by drcarl, Jun 23, 2009. drcarl Sergeant OK, so my old laptop crashed, someone gave me a new one, and now I am trying to recover. Got the old Outlook 2002 .pst files imported (took hours) with all the contacts. I then configured OL 2002 with my mail accounts at Yahoo (POP), with Comcast (my ISP), and with Gmail. The Comcast account is the only one that is fully functional. The Yahoo and the Gmail accounts return the following error when I press the "test account settings" button: "Send test e-mail message: Unable to send test message. Please verify the E-mail address field" I have even run the Detect and Repair function with the MS Office inserted. I have verified everything up one side and down the other. I have tried all sorts of combinations. I am at a loss to figure this one out and, as usual, look forward to help from the experts and geniuses here. On this Toshiba laptop, I am running...
