If I realy want to play the game, I must keep ertrying to load the game, untill it works. Very inconvenient if trying to load WP. Are you trying to run WP DOS in Windows? ------------------ Dick You write/I polish Reply With Quote 07-17-200007:52 PM #3 morag Guest HMMM - that's an interesting thought. I've tried it (and got the same darned "overflow" message - wondered perhaps I should buy a teeny little plunger or something) on both computers; the new computer *is* a windows computer, when I want to use WP I go to DOS by going to the Start button, then MSDOS Prompt. So maybe that does run it through windows. And the old 386 workhorse computer, on which I used to be able to assemble the document but can't now, has had Win3.1 installed on it recently.

Sounds like you lost your original autoexec.bat and config.sys files from c:, so you are booting from a diskette. "RE: Can't Get Game To Play" we need Way more information, specifically system specs.one thing you definately need, is DOS support. CoDS is a DOS based game that Windows XP doesn't trust, limiting anything a DOS program can do, however Dosbox is an intermediary between XP and DOS programs.system specs like CPU, RAM, Operating system, video card, and sound card and its drivers (if known) Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top Omega_Twilights (Guest) (0 posts) Aug-04-04,04:23PM(Pacific) 2.
