Package Control Unable To Download Bz2
Package Control when I launch ST2 it gives a whole lot of errors like: Error parsing JSON from repository https://api.github.com/repos/bmc/ST2EmacsMiscellanea. For now I turned autoupdate off to not have to click through all of these sublime text 3 package control there are no packages available for installation message boxes on every start. The same appears when I run Discover Packages. Funny that package manager cannot be used to install a package. I'm using Ubuntu 10.04, ST build 2139. Thank you for the good work anyway. Owner wbond commented Dec 5, 2011 Can you trying increasing the timeout for Package Control? Preferences > Package Settings > Package Control > Settings – Default. Copy the timeout setting into Settings package control: error downloading channel. http exception invalidcertificateexception – User and increase it to 30. RKushnir commented Dec 5, 2011 No, that didn't help. I changed settings, restarted and still the same issue. Is this timeout in seconds? ST2 didn't wait 30 seconds before showing errors, so I suppose there's something wrong with the data itself. Owner wbond commented Dec 5, 2011 What operating system are you using? RKushnir commented Dec 5, 2011 Please see at the bottom of my original post. Owner wbond commented Dec 5, 2011 Linux has the issue that the ssl module can not be bundled with Sublime due to issues with different versions of OpenSSL conflicting. Because of this, Package Control uses either curl or wget to try and fetch SSL URLs. Please try running curl and wget (if installed) against that URL to see if you are successfully able to hit it. RKushnir commented Dec 5, 2011 Tried both wget and curl, and both got the file successfully. Owner wbond commented Dec 5, 2011 Are you using a proxy? RKushnir commented Dec 5, 2011 I tried on my home PC with Ubuntu 11.04 and still the same. And I'm not using a proxy, at least I don't know of any. Owner wbond commented Dec 6, 2011 I just released version 1

If I'm missing something, please advise. Owner wbond commented Jul 25, 2014 @RedFred7 It sounds like you put the setting in the wrong file. Follow the directions at https://sublime.wbond.net/docs/settings. Owner wbond commented Jul 25, 2014 @Sigmanor something is preventing your machine from doing a hostname lookup for sublime.wbond.net. You'll have to look online for help. Or possibly try temporarily disabling antivirus/network security to see if that helps. RedFred7 commented Jul 25, 2014 @wbond I'm quoting from you
