If not please create the same and compile the project. It will work for sure. –Shailesh Jul 27 '12 at 6:00 3 Yes I do have GodsCreationTaxidermy.Core.MvcApplication (Global.asax.cs) –PsychoCoder Jul 27 '12 at 6:05 The Global.asax file that seems to be used (according to the screen shot) looks different than the one you have shown. –Darin Dimitrov Jul 27 '12 at 6:11 check to see if the Inherits string is the same as the path to the class in your application (namespace + pathname), that is they are both GodsCreationTaxidermy.Core.MvcApplication –linkerro Jul 27 '12 at 6:17 That's one of the issues Darin, no matter what I do it always leaves

I am not getting this error in any could not load other region but production. I am a server administrator with little knowledge of software development, "coding", or debugging. How do I go about finding out what it causing these errors? I have looked at several MS articles and other instructionals without much success. The actual applications don't seem to be failing, at least it is not being reported by end users. These also do not seem to correlate with any IIS app pool resets. Dec 03, 2009 08:52 AM|Maxer_Ars|LINK So I have this Visual Studio 08 project that we need to deploy to our IIS 6server. IIS is setup as: IIS -> Web Sites -> Default Web Site-> Our Portal -> MySite I need MySite to inherit things from OurPortal, even though it is a separate VS solution. So after deploying "MySite" I went into IIS and removed the application from it to make it a virtual directory only. Now when it was set as an application it would run fine, EXCEPT it did not inherit things of course. I am using forms based auth and need to inherit that from "Our Portal". So set as virtual directory, the forms based auth seemed to work as it redirected to the login page. However, after logging in and going back to the site I get this error: Parser Error Description: An error occurred during the parsing of a resource required to service this request. Please review the following specific parse error details and modify your source file appropriately. Parser Error Message: Could not load type MySite._Default'. I am most perplexed... especially confused that it works fine as an application in IIS but fails as a virtual directory. I used a master page and no
