I've tried IE and Firefox; i've tried disabling Theater Mode and Transition effects; and close my PopUp blocker, and it still doesn't work. It worked for me last year though, and I haven't switched computers. I found this recommendation at another site. Try going to http://www.hulu.com/ They have a link to the OLD ABC player and i was able to watch the new Grey's Anatomy episode this evening. So try Hulu. Looks it is blocking PHP file load requests for some user agents.
