I'm surprised I'm not getting any more detailed exception information. The screen just points to the line in the web.config where I'm referencing the module, and that's about it. I tried removing the reference to that module, and the problem moved to the first handler. I tried substituting a known-good module, and that failed in the https://forums.iis.net/t/prev/1181178 same way. Most frustrating. As 64 bit IIS worker process can only load 64 bit ASP.NET assemblies, it will fail to load yours because they are explicitly marked as x86 only. A workaround is to configure the application pool to run under 32 bit m

to learn C# and ASP.NET 2.0, and I'm find myself running into a serious roadblock. Since I'm new to both C# and .NET it's very hard for me to troubleshoot the problem, and even days of searching the net for a clue has proven fruitless. I'm working through some tutorials found on ASP.NET, but I am stuck at 'codebehind'. I can get any example to work locally (of course), but I'm finding that I can not get anything to work remotely on my new shared hosting plan.
