Accuracy is the closeness of your result to the true value and reflects a bias in the data (eg your results are all about 9/10 of what they should be and so your accuracy could be said to be 90 %) Precision is the closeness of the results to each other and reflects the spread. So your results might average at 100 % but the individual results could be 50% 100% and 150 %. Accuracy is good but precision is poor.
