The online YAML parser at http://yaml-online-parser.appspot.com/ permissions ex commands agrees with this as well. :) The weird/tricky thing about YAML is that an error further down the file can cause errors to show up toward the top of the file. In your case, line 144, the SuperAdmin group definition is spaced in one too far. Side note, your inheritance lines are incorrect for Admin, Superadmin and owner. You have the following: inheritance: - Member - Moderator This is not necessary as your moderator group already inherits from the member group. PEX follows inheritance chains, so you only need to have those groups inherit from the mod group. Adding the member group will do nothing but may cause PEX to use more memory and potentially confuse it. As for the owner group, you already are giving it access to * (everything), inheritance is not needed. You would be better off negating any nodes you don't want the owner group to have. Willdabeast Okay, let me start off by saying that I'm TOTALLY new to PEX, Spigot, etcetera, and need the most obnoxiously simple instructions humanly possible. So I got some plugins going, installed PEX, wrote up some permissions, started up my new server, and upon typing /plugins, I noticed that PEX was in red. Perplexed, I entered /pex and got literally no response. No "Unknown command", no, "Internal server error", no "PEX has been quickscoped by a user error". Nothing. For a start, I investigated the issue on all of the forums that Google was able to spit at me. It then became apparent that everyone's problem is EXTREMELY different. The number one cause of error is typos, so I checked my permissions.yml with YAMLint, fixed the error, relaunched the server, PEX is still red. I further investigated the problem, and discovered that I need to take a look at my startup log. I th
