Port Forwarding Stopped Working
2 Okay, I have an A-Link RR24AP router to which im connected wirelessly. The problem is that I can't port forward anymore. port forwarding not working linksys I used to be able to do that and all the ports I have forwarded are currently working. When I try to forward new ports the same way I have forwarded them before, I get an error http://boards.portforward.com/viewtopic.php?t=13746 stating "ERROR: Error found on page". I haven't changed any router settings or anything so I have no idea what could be causing this. Many routers have a limited table size for port forwards. JohnWill, Dec 14, 2009 #3 Fraxe Thread Starter Joined: Dec 14, 2009 Messages: 2 Thanks alot, it was just that! 20 ports seems to be the limitation and now I cleared some of the old ones out and it works. Why didn't i just realize this before... Fraxe, Dec 14, 2009 #4 JohnWill Retired Moderator Joined: Oct 19, 2002 Messages: 106,414 Things happen. The Gateway number is 10.0.0.138 and i typed it in the browser and entered the page of the router(B-FOCuS Router 312+ ECI -- Firewall Router ADSL)and the username/password -> Admin/Admin 2. And i went to Advanced -> port forwarding Port Forwarding, and tried to move the blocked ports (the rules)to the"Applied Rules"list, it told me: Error: Error found on page!So i tried to make a new rule called "torrent" and the ports:start port: 6881 end port: 6889 but it told me again: "Error : Error found...." Here's the picture of my page when it told me about the error The second day i port forwarding not tried many times again to allow these ports but uselessly... :S thanking you in advance Report abuse 01-10-2006, 10:47 AM Cool_nader (1004299452) replied to Cool_nader (1004299283) Cool_nader Joined on 12-13-2005 Posts 2 Points 10 Re: Port Forwarding Error!! I know the problem is port forwarding because the actual server works, but my friends can't connect to it. Also, I have gone to canyouseeme.org and none of the ports I open work. This doesn't apply solely to 25565. None of the ports I open work. I am doing port forwarding correctly so far as I can tell. My router is Netgear. I type my ip address in the search bar, go to advanced, go to advanced setup, go to port triggering/forwarding, and unlock port 25565. UPaP or something is marked as working. If you want to run a server then you have to buy a static ip like 15$ a month or some **** like that i hate it so its cheaper just to buy a host.Unless your computer can deal with 40 people playing then buy the public ip.
