I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the printer/drivers (which of course invovles repeated starting of the spooler service), I've downloaded the lastest drivers from HP, and have even tried reinstalling my operating system. The printer has stopped working. The printer is fine and so is the USB cable. I have tried a few USB ports that work with other devices.
