All the client computers are XP. Any suggestions? Tuesday, September 01, 2009 1:31 PM Reply | Quote Answers 0 Sign in to vote Hi, Thanks for the post.

Given this situation, I would like to confirm the following questions: 1. Are these problematic users are in the same group? If not, is there anything in common? 2. Does this issue occur when the problematic user logs on another computer? 3. What’s the error message? Please capture a screenshot when it shows up. How to capture a Screenshot: ======================= 1. Please press the Print Screen key (Putsch) on your keyboard. 2. Click Start, click Run, type MSPAINT, and click OK. 3. In Paint, click Paste under the Edit Menu, click Save under the File menu, type a file name for the screenshot, choose JPEG as "Save as type", click "Desktop" on the left pane, and click Save. 4. Please find the screenshot on the Desktop, and use Windows Live SkyDrive (http://www.skydrive.live.com/) to upload the file and then give me the download address. In this case, please perform the following steps on the problematic client machines. Suggestion 1: Clear spool file --------------------------------- Open Windows Explorer, refer to C:\windows\system32\spool\printers, and delete all of files in this folder (Do not delete the folder itself). Until now, this is happening almost everyday. P.S - While restarting the service, sometimes the PaperCut Provider Service wouldn't start (it'll say "Starting...") and I might have to reboot the server :( Any suggestions, recommendations is highly appretiated. Print scan copy all worked. Then my wife and kids wanted to use the printer from their PC's/laptops. This is where my problem started I clicked on the printer properties and clicked to shareover the network. I went over to my wife’s pc and clicked to add printer, it installed the needed drivers and all was well (or so I thought) I tried to print a test page from my wife’s pc (opened notepad and wrote a few lines) clicked print and away it went. Nothing printed so I went to have a look at my pc to see what had happened and on screen was an error message saying "Spooler Subsystem App has encountered a problem". I checked in the services and sure enough the print spooler had switched to "stopped". I uninstalled all the drivers from my pc and installed them again and again it worked fine on my pc until I clicked to share it and tried to print from the other pc. Both pc's are running win xp pro sp3 Any help will be greatly appreciated Thanks Bushiee More about : network print spool problem kazz244 1 March 2009 06:09:42 Do you have file and print sharing enabled on all the computers?
