Join Now Hi Everyone First time poster so be gentle! ;-) I'm having domain wide issues with clients not being able to print https://community.spiceworks.com/topic/452370-print-spooler-sub-system-error due to print spooler sub system errors on start up. When I try to http://www.computing.net/answers/windows-xp/print-spooler-not-running-cant-install-print/193651.html manually start the spooler it starts for a second and then stops. if i try through a command prompt I get "System error 5 has occurred Access denied" Our print server is WS2K3, I'm in the process of building a 2012 print server to replace it. I have trawled the forums and tried the following: - after print spooler giving "everyone" access to the directory I delete files in the C:\Windows\System32\spool\printers & \drivers folders and tried to install network printers. - repairing the windows install Initially this issue affected everyone but Win xp users seem to have recovered. WIn7 users still have the issue. cheers Brad Reply Subscribe RELATED TOPICS: Daily Print Spooler Error Print Spooler Madness Print Spooler Problem Turning Pandemic   15 Replies Chipotle print spooler error OP AkDonKeys Mar 4, 2014 at 1:15 UTC Did you load the win 7 drivers to the print server for each printer?
