Creating your account only takes a few minutes. Join Now Hi, I'm facing this network printer issue almost everyday https://community.spiceworks.com/topic/169709-network-printer-issues-restart-print-spooler-service now (which used to happen once a fortnight). We have 11 Printers on the network (various brands and models) each has its own static IP. We also use a program called PaperCut Provider to track the printing and charge the appropriate client. Most recently, our staff members are having trouble printing (just sits in the queue or print spooler freezes) and they notify me. All I do is to restart the Print Spooler Service in the Small Business Server (Exchange 2003) and also the PaperCut Provider Services which is attached to the Print Spooler Services. Once done, it'll be back normal and no trouble for a month or so. Until now, this is happening almost everyday. print spooler windows P.S - While restarting the service, sometimes the PaperCut Provider Service wouldn't start (it'll say "Starting...") and I might have to reboot the server :( Any suggestions, recommendations is highly appretiated.
