J206. These are the three connectors that the error code description says to "reseat." J205 was in so tightly I couldn't get it out so I left it alone. J207 wasn't a connector at all but what looked like a mass 41.2 printer error laserjet 5 of metal twisted together. And as I said I couldn't locate J206 at all on the PCB. 51.1 printer error None of the other error code "fixes" seem to apply, as there appears to be no trouble at all with the paper feed and movement through

graphic intensive but not enough printer memory to handle.I never had the problem until recently, but now I am wondering if it's being caused by the Office Depot laser toner cartridge I'm using. I've used other off-brands before without incident. I do have an OEM cartridge in reserve, but I hesitate to open the box if that won't solve the problem, since I can probably return it for store credit. Any ideas? Respond to this 0 Haven't seen one of these machines in a 41.2 printer error hp 5200 long time. I don't think these gave those errors for cartridges. A 3SI/4SI would if the tab broke on the cartridge. I think the 41.2 means paper mismatch, paper loaded doesn't match what it detected. Make sure the paper guide in the cassette tray is set correctly.I think these had issues with the paper sensor flag breaking. Remove the paper tray & see this link for what it should look like.http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/reference/guides/sensors/pxThe only way to remove the flag is to remove the DC board then you'll see the flag near the front. I think RF5-0601-050CN is the part # of the flag. The flag has a metal bar on the backside, I think some of the early models didn't have the bar. by Sharpie on Sep 10, 2010 at 2:04pm Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 I checked and compared to the picture in the link, and the paper sensor flag appears to be fine. I remember seeing it when I disassembled the unit. However, I do notice that the horizontal membrane (flap) that runs across the top (roof) of the paper tray cavity is wrinkled where the paper sensor flag tab is. The membrane is also scored every inch or so. This doesn't seem like it would affect the paper feed, but is it possibly interfering with the paper sensor operation? If so, what is the fix? by GregCoben on Sep 10, 2010 at 6:21pm Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 I always thought a 41.2 error altho

I'd open all the access points on the printer and check for stray paper, maybe from a previous printer jam. If you have a can of air, blow out the printer. 41.2 PRINTER ERROR EVENT LOG MESSAGE 41.00.02 DESCRIPTION Indicates that a beam detect laser scanner error has occurred on the previous page. MAKING A GRINDING NOISE WHEN PRINTING Q: I have an hp laserjet 4250 making a grinding noise when it prints. The printer as far as I can tell seems to be functioning fine, in the sense that there are no reoccurring paper jams or image defects. When we look closer at the machine it seems like the noise is coming from the rear of the printer. I cant really see anything from that angle, but am afraid to pull it apart for fear of not putting it back together properly. Any ideas A: HP laserjet 4250 grinding noise is a very common problem with these printers. Mostly it stems from the hp 4250 fuser assembly and the 4250 swing plate assembly not properly engaging each other due to worn down gears. When the gears become worn they will not properly align and you will start to hear the grinding noises that you are describing. This is a problem that if not addressed will result in paper jams and an ultimate shutting down of the 4250 printer. Replacing the hp laserjet 4250 swing plate assembly and the hp laser 4250 fuser assembly will resolve your grinding noise while printer issue HP LASERJET 4250 PERFORM PRINTER MAINTENANCE MESSAGE Q: I have an hp laserjet 4250 perform printer maintenance message on the display panel of my printer. The printer has yet to stop running but I am concerned that something bad will happen if I keep printing on it. Do you have any suggestions as to why this perform printer maintenance message has popped up and is there anything that I can do to clear this message? A: When your hp laserjet 4250 perform printer maintenance message appears on your display panel it is time to install a hp laserjet 4250 maintenance kit (q5421a). The printer is programmed to display that message after 200,000 pages have been printed out of the printer. The rollers and fuser assembly are rated for 200,000 prints give or take depending on operating environment and media. Much like any other consumable part, after a certain amount of use they are required to be replaced. Purchasing a maintenance kit and installing will get your HP laserjet 4250 running as it should. HP LASERJET 4250 ERROR 60.02 Q: I have an hp laserjet 4250 error 60.02 that wont seem to go away. What causes this error 60.02? A: HP laserjet 4250 error 60.02 are caused by the lifter motor not properly lifting the tray 2 cassette. This can be cau
