I then installed the second package, and It said 'upgrade complete, although rather faster than I might have imagined it would go. anyway, everything is fine for about an hour, printer seems happy, I get on wiht other stuff, although I dont think I print, when I think, ooh, how about that ram I had in that old laptop.I turn mr. dell off, put the ram in, turn it on. now, I cant remember if it turned on or came up with error 016-370, but I turned it off and checked the ram. oops, its not fully seated in. has this fried something, I think?! turn the machine back on, and we get error 016-370. which leads us to where I am now!from what I gather this is probably the bios, but I cant really be sure, as the ram issue is worrying me. Ive thought about getting it repaired, or just getting a new ESS ( the board with the bios etc: on) and plugging that in? should that work? Ive also in my 'enthusiasm' following dells 'check all connections' managed to pu

Expert 118 Answers Re: How i can fix the error 016-302 restart printer??? This is a little bit of a tricky one, First, remove any LAN/USB cable and cancel any print jobs. You will have to remove the top cover to easily rotate the "rubber" belt until you see the silver square appear near the foam "window"...actually more like a cutout. OR Remove the drum cartridge from the top of the printer. Now, stand it up with the blue roller up and facing you. Then turn the blue roller on the very edges, so your fingers did not touch until a silver box shows up in the window (where the foam was) on the bottom right. Put it back together, and that should do it!! That error is a CPU error, you may have to un-plug the network or USB cable when you power cycle the printer, could just be a document it is unable to print, and needs to be cleared without cables. Otherwise the CPU could be damaged from a static shock or something like that... Pos
